Bloomsday in Lisbon – an event for feinsmeckers

Bloomsday 2017: a meeting between James Joyce and Fernando Pessoa Ireland’s annual literary event Bloomsday is now celebrated all over the world on the 16th June – the day in which Joyce’s masterpiece Ulysses is set. This year, Bloomsday promises to be a very special one in Lisboa, taking place at the Casa Fernando Pessoa, where James Joyce and Fernando Pessoa will meet and converse through their plurality of extraordinary voices, heteronyms and characters brought to life by a wonderful international array of actors, writers and musicians in English and Portuguese.
